Ever since i was little every winter my Dad would take us Snow Bizzing.For those of you who may not know what that is it is when you tie a sled to the back of your car and pull children around the neighborhood. I have no idea why it is called that. Anyways yesterday we took the kids out Snow Bizzing. It stared off just as our kids and ended up being a neighborhood event. Even my friends husband got in on it. We did it for like 2 hours till all the snow on the street was packed down till it was almost ice. The snow plow came today to plow the street and ended up just dumping salt because all the snow was packed down. Thanks Sherry we had a great time.

We finally have snow to play in. The boys played outside in the snow for ever and had a great time having snowball fights, building forts and building a snow man.

Candy Making

My sister Sherry and I made Christmas candy on Saturday for all the neighbors . It was lots of fun. We made Gingerbread men cookies for the boys to decorate they did a great job and had lots of fun. It was my first time ever making old fashion fudge. It tuned out great, i was so proud of myself.

Cozy fire.

So last week the heater at our house stopped working. So we decided to use our wood burning stove for the first time. So i went and bought the wood and came home to my cold house with my sick children and started the fire. I was so nice and warm. As we lay on the love sac all snuggled up and cozy after getting to enjoy our fire for about an hour, i decided to throw another log on the fire. So i did. After i put the log on the fire got really big and started burning like crazy inside the stove, i got a little freaked out but thought all was well. As i got cozy with my kids and started watching out movie. The smoke alarms started to beep. Well all the alarms are on one system so when one goes off they all go off. So as 15 smoke alarms are beeping my kids start saying they are scared and i start to notice the room is getting a little bit smokey i called 911. I didn't want to take any chances of a chimney fire or a fire in the wall, so i thought better to be safe then sorry. So my and the boys were told to wait outside in the snow for the fire department. About 20 minutes later the fire chief pulls up in his car and goes inside to check it out. He came out and said that it looked ok but they fire truck would be here shortly and they would double check. So sure enough 2 HUGE fire trucks pull up in front of our house the fire men got all geared up and hearded into the house. Well all was well the fire was almost burnt out by the time they got here. They said it was just because it was the first time that we used it and the oil base inside the stove had to burn off. It was a very eventful day. The boys loved that the firemen had to come to our house because they got to climb up in the trucks and sit inside they thought that was the coolest thing ever.

This is were it all started. Sorry if you can't see the Picture the flash wasn't on. Anyways this is the spot were Jared asked me to marry him 9 years ago last month. I want to tell Jared how much i love him and i am so thankful for all that he has done for me. Thank you for our two beautiful Children. I love you Jared you are my everything.

Saturday night we went to see the lights at the Temple finally. We have been trying to go for like 2 weeks. It took us a while to find a parking spot, but we finally did. Jared's Mom and his little brother Lehi and his wife Chelsea went with us. We had a great time. Thanks for coming guys we love you!!!!!

Playing at the park in December?????

So on Saturday Parker and Austin wanted to go play at the park. The weather was super nice. So we went. They had lots of fun playing. It was a little chilly, but we were playing at a park with no snow in December!!! Crazy.

Christmas Tree.

Last night for FHE we put up our little tree. I put the lights on and then Jared and the boys put on the decorations. they did a great job. Then we turned off all the lights and just enjoyed the glow. I love the warm glow of a Christmas tree. I have lots of good memories of Christmas trees.

I really wanted to make the Christmas count down chains with my boys. Parker came home with one last week. so today Austin and i made one for him it was lots of fun.
