So i was siting here making my dinner menu and i just keep thinking of the same dinners over and over. I want something new. So i thought why not do a blog and ask all you ladies what some of your best recipes are. If you have any that you would be willing to share please email them to me or just post them in your comment. I thought maybe we could post them once a week and then we can all get some new recipes, I love getting new recipes i enjoy cooking and would love to try some new things.

I like to do "make your own" pizzas..you can make your own dough or use tortillas or pitas and then everyone can top 'em with whatever you want!
There are also tons of websites that you can search for ideas. I love finding new recipes to try. Myrecipes.com is great!
Good Idea I will think of something good and let you know.
if you click on my profile and then go to the "skinny jeans" blog, there are tons of recipes from us young mommas out here in HI, dinners, desserts, etc.
I feel like such a jerk, I had no idea that you were even pregnant. Well Congrats! What are you having? Do you have easy or hard pregnancies?
Anyway, thanks for your thoughts.
I don't have your e-mail, so I'll leave you a super long comment! Tai Fried Rice is one of my faves. Here's the recipe:
3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
2 large white or yellow onions
1 bunch green onions
3 cups of minute rice (or 4 cups prepared regular white or brown rice)
2 t olive oil
1 1/2 t garlic
3 t soy sauce
1 1/2 c water
salt & pepper to taste
You start by dicing the onions, finely chopping the green onions, and cubing the chicken. You cook all of this together in the olive oil (I do it in an electric skillet set to about 300). When the onion is just shy of translucent, add the soy sauce, garlic, 1/2 cup of water and some salt and pepper. Continue cooking until the onion is fully translucent, then add the cooked rice (minute rice is easiest for me, my Mom does regular rice). Stir together and add another 1/2 cup water. Turn the heat down to 200 and cook for another 5-15 minutes to get all of the flavors fully saturated, adding a little bit of water every few minutes to keep the rice from sticking. Serve with sliced cucumber and fresh lemon or lemon juice (a few drops of this makes the rice SOOO yummy!). It is seriously easy despite the lengthy recipe, and SO good!
