Sledding
Last week we went over to my sister Sherry's and we went sledding. We hooked a sled up to the car and pulled the kids down a long dirt road, they had lots of fun. Austin was getting really crazy and trying to make the sled go all over the road. He is very brave!! Thanks Sherry for letting us come and have fun with you guys!!!

Oh Christmas Tree
Well we finally got our tree up. I have felt so busy the last little while and i just fell behind on getting our tree out of storage. So last Saturday Parker and Austin went with me to dig all the Christmas stuff out of storage ( they are such good helpers). First i had to clean my whole house before i could put up the tree so again they helped me with that. Then they helped me put the tree together and test all the lights and help me put those on as well. Then they decorated the tree and Daddy helped Austin put on the angel and turn her on. Then we let Benson sit by the tree to check it out. He would touch it very softly and just look at it.....for about 5 minutes, then he was grabbing the branch and shaking it :) I must say one of my favorite things to do is turn off all the lights at night and just have the tree lights on. Oh by the way that is Benson's chezzer smile:) we love it. Merry Christmas!!!

8 months old
Benson is now 8 months old :) we love all the cute things that come with this age. Benson has 2 bottom teeth, he makes the funniest chesseser smile ever ( i tried to get a picture of it today but my battery's where dead on my camera) he loves to snuggle and most of all he LOVES!! his big brothers. He just lights up when they walk into the room and start talking to him. He loves all the baby food that he has tried except for peas, he gags when i try and feed him those. But Sweet potatoes and squash are his fav. He is getting more mobile and his big brothers are determined to get him to crawl. He is such a smile baby and we have loved every minute of him. We love you baby Benson:)

Happy Halloween
I must say i had a lot of fun making the boys costumes this year. Just in case you can not tell Parker is Mario, Austin is Luigi and Benson was Baby Bowser. I did not make Benson's costume and my mom made most of his shell, but i did make the boys hats. It was lots of fun. Crystal and Scott and Lehi and Chelsea came and did some trick or treating with us, it was lots of fun. Kairi was Princess Peach and Crystal's boys were Spanky and Alfalfa. She did a great job putting those together. Liam did not want to sit on the couch for the picture, it was pretty funny.

The latest bug find.
So My step Dad Will and my little sister Anna just found this bug tonight by our house. SICK!!! The one they found had a broken neck so i didn't take a picture of it. This picture is from the web. Jerusalem crickets (genus Stenopelmatus) are a group of large (body length up to 69 millimetres (2.7 in)), flightless insects native to the western United States, along the Pacific Coast, and south into Mexico. Because of their large, human-like head, they are commonly called niño de la tierra (Spanish for "child of the earth"), Earth baby, cara de niño (Spanish for "child's face"), wó see ts'inii (Navajo for "skull insect"), or old bald-headed man. They are also often called potato bugs.
Despite their name, Jerusalem crickets are neither true crickets nor true bugs and they do not prefer potatoes for food. Active only at night, the insects use their strong mandibles to feed primarily on dead organic material but can also eat other insects.[1] Their highly adapted feet are used for burrowing beneath moist soil to feed on decaying root plants and tubers.

Award
We are so proud of Parker. He has been working so hard to earn his scouting badges. Last week he earned his Wolf badge, he was very excited to receive it. He is even more excited that his Mom just got the calling to be his new scout leader :) Don't i already have enough of my own boys keep in line? I am excited it will be fun to get to help Parker earn even more badges, and boys are defiantly entertaining.
P.s. I do NOT want to talk about the fact that Parker is almost as tall as me. I am still in denial that he is even that old.
